So excited we finally booked our ceremony and reception location!!! Its been a long stressfull process but FINALLY complete, Now to start with the more fun stuff as in Decor and All that...Well we still have to figure out a caterer and dj and photobooth Minor details though.  :)   I'm glad I've been to a lot of weddings cause I've weeded out a few DJs so that Helps :)

So...This is going to be my venting blog today,  I have been working my REAREND OFF to get into shape and loose weight cause I refuse to be a fat bride. I wouldn't say I'm HUGE but I have been skinnier and I miss those days. I work at a desk for 8 hrs a day, So I'm not that active during the day, but I hit the gym I did p90x for 1 month didn't see any results so I started doing other things, and still no difference in weight I'm not eating bad, I started eating WW meals again cause I saw a big difference when I joined WW the first time. Its just so frustrating when you work hard and don't make progress :(  Guess I'll be kicking it and doing more.. Any suggestions would be helpful.
So on the next category, MY CAR A couple of weeks ago when I was in KC my brother informs me  that my 2 front tires are pretty bad and should get some new ones for the front that my back ones are just fine. So as Im on my way home from KC visting the FI  I blew a tire...GREAT and the worst part, it was ONE OF MY GOOD ONES. UGH so I ended up just buying 4 new tires cause why only buy 3??
LAST but not least. My poor dog Duke, aka BIG DOG is what we call him cause he's BIG lol, I let him out the other dogs this morning when I got home from work, My roomate and I have 4 dogs all together, my 2 his 1 and his GFs dog, So as I'm trying to clean off muddy paws this morning I'm also keeping an eye on Duke cause he likes to be sneaky and climb and jump fences, the other 3 dogs were up at the door waiting to come in and I'm cleaning them (BTW thats a lot of muddy paws on a rainy day) I look up and Duke is just standing there at the end of the deck just staring at me kinda holding his leg up so I'm thinking he's just going to the rest room, then I tried getting him to come to me and he could barely walk up the desk stairs :(  So I tried feeling around to see if he broke something if there was a sore spot somewhere and the stubborn dog wouldn't flinch, So I debated and finally took him to the animal ER  after sitting there for about and hour and a half the vet comes and tells me he tore his A Cruicail Ligament, (ACL)  WTF???  HOW ON EARTH.... So I can get sugery for him that will cost like 600-800 dollars or see how he heals on his own it will just scar over, if it was partial then no big deal...but NO it was ALL the way, so if I opt to just let it heal, he won't be 100% but if you knew my dog that probably wouldn't be a bad thing LOL...but if he isn't good within a month I'm going to have to get surgery on him, UGH   UNEXPECTED expenses SUCKS I have a wedding to pay for DARN IT...

Ok I'm done ranting  Just a little frustrated thats all...

After looking and looking and looking, I have finally found a poster big enough to do the escort card idea listed under the DIY. I wanted one that was black and white, I wasn't really big on having one show the twin towers cause they are in the skyline anymore and its kinda sad :(  I couldn't find one that didn't have it, but I'm ok with that since it was a HUGE part of NYC. I have ordered them from amazon! and they should be here by the end of the week. SO EXCITED

Really excited! We have picked our photographer!  RVR Photography is going to be capturing our special day! We had met with a couple of photographers and out of all of them they were the ones that were the most personable during our meeting. They spent time telling us about themselves their packages and asked us questions about us. Not just a sit down here is what we offer, they also showed us more options of what our packages could be if we wanted to swap things around. I feel we've made and AMAZING decision! Check out their website listed under our Vendors :)

Its the beginning to my website, to show friends and family members the progress in planning the wedding and the DIY projects! Now the actually planning I jumped right into after we got engaged, its been a task to try to set up vendor appts around both of our schedules and living away from eachother. But so far its working out pretty well, we had played with the idea (not very long) but it was there, of doing a destination wedding. Then we decided against it, we both have family members with health problems and those are very important people in the wedding as well. I have to say that joining theknot community has helped a BUNCH. So many other brides have given me amazing ideas, and I've had a lot of help with other bride friends! We still have over a year but it seems to be going by fast already! I love the planning part, even if its stressfull I work in a stressfull enviroment if I don't have stress then I would think something was wrong! Enjoy the progress! I know I am :)
