Escort Cards

I Loved the idea from January Bride http://sites.google.com/site/januarybride/diy Depending on where we have the reception will depend on what we will do for the poster. AMAZING idea and I'm sooo excited to do it. Mostly likely ours will be a NYC inspired or Old Broadway plays. We haven't decided yet.

NYC!!!

We decided well I kinda decided to do NYC for the escort cards! I ordered the posters and this is what they look like!!! LOVE IT

Colors

Got these fabrics the black is from JoAnns and the Pink is from a store I used to work at they were going to throw them away so I got to take home 4 table clothes in that color and figured they would work ! going to use them for the flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillow

Floral

Went Flower shopping so have a whole bunch of flowers and of course those weird looking "buds" on the lillies will be cut off

White Lillies

The white lillies will most likely be most of my bouquet with some pink accents

Pink Lillies

maybe brides maids bouquets and part of the accent for mine we are going to play around with them and the others

More Accents

Just some random flowers we found and were like OMG so of course I bought them

Some other ones we liked...could be center peice material or bouquet

My Bouquet

Wanted it simple and gorgeous of course! so we stayed with the white lillies and then added the pink stargazer lillies... SOOO easy with help from my sister n law it didn't take any time at all. Will be adjusting the flowers more.

MOH Bouquet

The MOH bouquet is going to be a little bigger than the BMs , We still have finishing touches to do on them but this is a kinda put together project

BMs Bouquet

This is for the bridesmaids and the groomsmaid Like above they still need some finishing touches they will have black ribbon with a hot pink ribbon accient on the bottom. And I might use and Idea from another knottie to put their initial on the bouquet also.

Bouts

SO I decided to throw the other ones I did out and redid them with Calla lillies...and I LURVE THEM!!!!

Still dont' know if I'll use these or not....Since the others turned out sooo goood

Card Box

Because I'm sooo obsessed with pictures we are doing a picture frame cardbox and then after the wedding we will use it to go in our house as a decoration of some sort :) Picture is of the idea I'll post more when I get done with it :)

Went to Hobby Lobby today and got the picture frames for my card box!!!! They were 50% off!!!

FINISHED

My brother did an awesome job putting this together. Instead of using hinges he nailed it together and then made the top and bottom. I painted it all black. :) A few more angles underneath.

Card Keepsake

I wasn't sure what to do with my cards after the wedding so I was looking at ideas and found this one http://offbeatbride.com/2010/01/diy-wedding-card-keepsake-book I completely agreed that tossing them seemed kinda wrong :)

Wine Box

I'm doing a wine box ceremony. I didn't want a box that I needed to nail in cause I feel that its gonna be distracting at the wedding. So I wanted one that I could put a lock on it...Now lets hope I don't loose the key LOL

Flower Girl Baskets

I got my flower girl baskets pretty early after easter so JoAnns had a lot of baskets on sale for half off. I needed 2 identicle ones since I have 2 Flower girls :)

Part of the Center Piece

I've decided to put these on the bottom of the vase with the table number in them...LOVE IT Old scratched records don't go to waste :)

Dying the Petticoat

I used 2 boxes of fushia Rit dye to do it...then I redid it cause the color just wasn't right now it is :)

Something Blue

I was going to use rhinestones to do this...but I couln't find any that were small enough...so I ended up finding stickers that look great!!!

Pomanders for decorations at the Reception

These were def the most time consuming but they turned out great!!! I'm pretty happy with them...excuse the paperclips they were holding them together while they dried
